I know, huh. I keep reading words like GCB, tubing, shuttling, and bikes from these Golden boys and it's really making me jealous.
A trail thatís too difficult wouldnít exist because itíd never be used. But, trails can exist thatíre too difficult for you.

    CRIPES!

If you guys spent half the energy used in coordinating these shuttles and typing notes back and forth, on actually climbing the hills you'd be done by now and barely thirsty enough for GCB!

Entertaining to check in and see this thread had gotten to two pages, heading for three, and I'm helping.

Holy hell I go to lunch and look what happens.

I rode to work today so I've the wrong shoes to just ride and meet up in the lower Apex lot. You guys are talking about the Heritage Rd lot, right?

I'm thinking I'll go with gray camo Oakley baggies and sage shirt. I'll accessorize with red fox gloves which will nicely set off the accents in my Giro full face. The shorts will pick up the the charcoal Shimano mid-top shoes as well as the RaceFace/Roach pads. Hmmm, the socks... what to wear for socks... what color is the D9?

You don't have any matching socks.

Anyway - I have my road shoes and my road bike, smart ass. For what it's worth I'll be wearing my purple oakley shorts with a black top crowned with my dorky road lid. If someone shows up with an extra pair of 44 spd cleated shoes...

someone tell me where to be when. and since my bike is in pieces currently, i'm hoping there will be either a friendly 575 demo available, or one of IE's castoff rides (since he apparently upgrades every few months).

now i just need to wrestle w/ my conscience about shuttling apex on a sunny friday during peak hours.
The toy box is at the casa. We can get you set up on a 575.....easily....bring pedals...now!
