Fun Falcon Friday!!

Had some plan changes on today's ride. In-laws wanted to visit so I had to stay close to home. Man that was a blast. I headed to Mt.Falcon. I parked at the upper lot and did all of the loops and Castles. never done the loops before, I have been missing out. Devils Elbow still has a fair bit of snow/slush but the rest of the trails were mostly dry. Today was a blast, I will be doing these loops a lot more! However after climbing up Parlame Gulch I will be changing the SS rear cog. Been thinking about it awhile, today was the final decision. Get out and enjoy the great conditions!

I saw snow. That demands 4 inch wide tires and low pressure. I'm an advocate now. Ok, I guess old world fat tires work too. Nice Rover!

I didn't ride down to Morrison, I went to the ruins, and did the loops. Was on a time crunch.

Did you head up there? It snowed a short bit Saturday eve. Seems to have all melted off where I live already.

Yes - I rode up Sunday afternoon and combined it with a trip down LOB and then a loop around Bear Creek. Amazing for January - although the lower sections of LOB (running by the creek) were very heavily snow packed and icy in places. MF was clear all the way up.
