    Fuji Bikes in CO

A friend of mine may be able to swing a nice deal on a Fuji mtb. Any thoughts on costs, maneuverability and ease of repairs? He is thinking about the Tahoe or Mt Fuji.
Most discussion on this site is about other well known bikes, but not Fuji. Are they really any good, or just too expensive?? will they hold up on Colorado's rocks?

It kind of depends on what type of riding he plans to do. Fuji is known more for their entry level bikes, though my dad did just purchase one of their road bikes - which seems pretty sweet (in spite of the fact that it's not the most exciting thing a person can ride). if your friend plans to do casual trail riding (not drops, jumping, DH or CC racing type stuff) he will probably be just fine on a Fuji.

    Cross Country-- Other recommendations??

He is now looking at Trek & Haro Bikes. But doesn't want to spend as much as I did on the Trek 8000 LT. Still wants to keep it @ 25 lbs or less for a good price.
