    FS: Ventana X-5 (Paid Spam)

There is an MTBR Classified Ad for this. Promise. $1700 obo

The ultimate do everything all mountain yet you can still say it's not heavy bike. She's one of my babies, but it's time to give someone else the pleasure. I bought this bike back when Sherwood would actually call you and walk through your build. Judging from the welds, I am pretty sure he gave this one a hand job. Believe it or not, it has very low mileage. I may have gotten on her two or three times a month (all my bikes get equal use). Sadly, I have not ridden her in almost two years, because I fell back in love with a hardtail. The pictures are pretty much to the T on how this bike looks and run. Well taken care of. Yes, it has been ridden and so there are a few scuffs here and there. There is one small ding on the rear triangle, which is pictured. It does not effect the integrity of the bike. Just remember, it has ELECTROSEX welds!!!

    Here's the stuff:

    Small X5 frame
    Fox DHX Air Shock
    Race Face Cranks
    Time Peds included
    Fox Vanilla RLC (150mm) Fork
    Chris King Hubs
    Chris King Headset
    Easton Monkeylite Carbon Bars
    Hope MIni Disc Brakes
    Thomson Post and Stem
    Hope Skewers and seat clamp
Rhynolite Rims with Blue Nipples (who doesn't like blue nipples?)
    Kenda Stick-E tires
    SRAM X-9 Drive Train
    WTB Saddle

Yes, this thing has lots of blue bling. The cables are HAWT! It weighs in at just between 31 and 32 pounds. It's five inches, but you can always get the six inch rockers if you really need it.

I'd prefer not to ship it and have you check it out in person. You should always know and feel what you are buying. For the little guy (or gal) that wants to go big, this is your bike. I am 5'5" and 145 pounds with a 30" inseam.

If you are just way too in love and have to have it, then I can ship it (lower 48 only) for another $150.

    Thanks.

I am keeping the Eriksen. It's going to Moab in a couple of weeks. I bought a complete XX groupo including SID world cup with the BMBP pro deal. I am thinking about building up a carbon 26" HT. Yes, 26".

What a deal isn't it.! Like John said, it cost a lot of people $2k to watch his lecture on it.

I meant to talk to you at the patrol but I got so distracted by that damn social thing. Damn.
