Although I've had many a good time at the FFTF it's probably the worst time to go if you want to ride, IMO.
Gone are the days we stopped to decide,
    Where we should go,
    We just ride...

Hell yeah I'll be there. Troy was nice enough to come over for the 1st Annual Peak Region Cyclist Bicycle show so I kinda have to go back. Not like it'll take much to twist my arm.

I like the crowds and fun of the fest. I just make sure I'm done with the normal rides and at the top of Moore Fun before 11:00 am looking down at the army-ant looking line on Horsethief Bench. It's actually very spectacular.

Otherwise the other aspects of the fest are pretty fun...especially in the evening-- and the Clunker Crit is always a riot!

I'm in as always. I like being able to leave the Maverick behind and ride some new bikes. Plus even a busy Fruita trail is less than a Hall or Heil on a weekend. And Over the Edge rocks.

We camped out at Highline Lake State Park They have a pretty good loop around the lake, good for the kids to ride on. They use it for the 18hrs. of Fruita. It's good because it has showers. But may be full as of now spots go quickly. Some of the festival nighttime activity can be fun, never really got that bottle walk thing, but was fun to watch

We have a bit of a crew heading out to 18 Rd or Highline S.P. leaving Thursday afternoon returning Sunday night. Should be good times. Might be able to find extra space for others taking off out of the Colorado Springs area. Let me know maybe we can meet up and share a few.
