Nope. I've never owned anything other than plain ol' lycra shorts.

I have several pair of the Endura Humvees - regular and the 3/4 (knickers)... love them! Chainlove and backcountryoutlet etc have been running good deals on 06-08 models... Have seen them as cheap as $35.

Umm... you see - I'd simply wear the tights. I wouldn't bother putting long shorts over them.

Second the Endura Humvees. I have some Humvee shorts and some Humvee knickers. Good pockets, etc.

Lately, though, I just picked up some Swobo wool (tight) knickers. Dayamn they are nice. They've got a good Eschler chamois in 'em too. I've been wearing them under my Humvee shorts. I just got in from a ride and they were perfect. Just enough to keep the knees warm at 40 degrees.

Skared, you're giving away my secrets. Yes, I do like the Endura Humvee Manpris and the Swobo wool knickers (the tight ones). In fact, I was looking for more knickers today but the Descente ones have really a sucky chamois.

I wish that I was more secure in my sexuality. Oh! I guess I am. I'm still wearing women's underwear (lycra). Maybe I would enjoy that airy free feeling of Manpris.

    Dang!

When the topic on the Colorado-Front Range forum turns to knickers, I expected to see at least one picture of a McClung.

    Disappointing. Very disappointing.

I have a pair of the Humvee’s and like them. Put a layer underneath for colder weather and you’re good to go.
Also, dudes commenting on what other dudes are wearing? Might want to check your package… you know to see if it’s still there. Besides, we ride bikes... we all look like dorks.

My knickers of choice: fleece-lined, bib-style, 3/4 length Castelli's with Green Mountain Sports logo on the side panels... so nice for winter night-riding. So comfortable, so stylish, and anyone can see the plums I smuggle from the bar to the top of Green Mountain and back to the bar.

Moto pants are for Sam Hill and guys that actually ride moto!

Dude, get yourself some endura zymes for $25 and ride with your regular chamois. I have a collection of knickers: bib knickers, zymes, humvees, swobo wool. I always choose the zymes.
