    "Freshies.....Get your Freshies HERE!!!"

A lilttle spin at Devil's BackBone this morning on the Pugs with the pups. Good thing I hit it early.....the snow was already melting on my way back at 10am.

    Not too chilly.....

    Blue skies to the East....

Cloudy black skies to the West...

DRAT!! Someone beat me to the freshies? Are those skinny skiis? In 2" of snow... LOL! Someone was dreamin......

A little further down the trail....the freshies were all mine....

Not so freshie after the 4" wide Pugs tires and 8 dog legs.....

Plenty of fresh ahead......2"-4" on the tread of the trail......

The ugly skies to the west started breaking up around 9am.

Trusty Snow Steed and virgin freshies ahead.....

Lots of freshies now that I'm a ways from the trailhead....

Great day, view to the South looking into Loveland.....

The sign of a good ride.......

Is 10:30 am too early for a celebratory beer? NAW, not with this being the first real snow of the season. Why not....

    Hell, have a second.....

Cheers everyone. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!!!!

    Nice.

    Speaking of Pugs.

Is there any FS pugs out there?

Why do all bikes go down the same path of rigid, then front suspension then finally FS? I wanna skip the foreplay and get to the sex!

    I would buy a pug over a 29er anyday.

A few more Pugs pics from today. Couldn't make it out in the morning with El Beastro so I hit Bobcat later in the day. Freshies on a good portion of it, and only a couple pair of hiker tracks on the rest. Great stuff!!!

Wish I could have been out, but started off the day with a 5 mile run at 630 this morning, then a "safety day" then finally done with work at 5 this evening, only to have to head out with the wife for last minute shopping for turkey day... Oh well maybe get out some time this 4 day!

Nice additions to the thread Larry

To all you Americans, Happy Thanks Giving.

Just ask Tscheezy about his Franken Turners if you haven't already seen them, they're very cool indeed.

Nice beastro! Looks like just 2-3 inches down there...I might have to do a ride in the next couple of days. I just rode Coyote Ridge/Indian Summer/Blue Sky on Sunday and have tan lines from 70something degree weather. Now to think it's 25 degrees and snow.....

Don't know about you but I'm pretty sure we have 6" up here.

Got freshies on Green Mountain this morning (Thanksgiving). Pretty cold until the sun came out which, of course, led to melting snow. The top of GM was really sweet. No need for a Pugs and I forgot the camera. I love snow rides, they make even your most familiar trail just a little more challenging.

Holy CARP!!!! You went up Ginny on the Pugs??? You are suicidal..... LOL! That has GOT to be a slow, torturous, slippery climb.....

How was Ginny in the snow? How far up did you go?

It was a grunt for sure, but not as bad as I expected, walked very little. Need to put the 20t granny on, that would help. Rode the whole lower loop and then went about 1/3 of the way up Ginny, had to turn around due to limited daylight. Stopped at the bottom of the hardest climbing section (where it switchbacks up that knob in the last pic). Would be awesome to do the whole Ginny trail sometime if we get similar conditions again, it was perfect.
