    freeride park idaho springs

hey everyone i have good news. i have traded the land i purchased for a better plot on the north side of 1-70. its right near the town of downieville and has nearly 4600 ft of length and over 500 feet of altitude gain. its all sloped and has a shuttle road so nearly 1 mile runs will be possible. the other property was wider but only 1500 feet long and no shuttle road. the new property faces south and will be rideable 10 months a year. i will post info soon as i plan to build in a few weeks. im sorry for the earlier news briefs being inaccurate but i was given bogus info on the land i had purchased. now i have a larger plot with a shuttle road and three times the length. i have been away from the internet for a while but i will try to post more info as it becomes available.

Thats awesome Mark. Definitely get some build dates up here and I'll be up there as often as I can. Nice to see that you got some better land.

    is making a comeback.

Turns out that five years of not mountain biking, really makes one strive to get back to it.

its much better land as far as cycling is concerned. skinny, long and downhill all the way. i will post dates in a week or so. there will be riding in the winter because of the southern exposure.

    goodie

I was kinda worried about the land after seeing it a while ago. Glad that it worked out that you could trade it. Is the soil the same, and is it as steep. Can't wait to get another freeride place up and going.

Cool...I am in Genesee now and only 15 minutes or so from Idaho Springs. Give me a hollar if you are headed out and need a hand.

i'm definately in on doing some building when i have the time. i also have a few friends that most likely will be willing to build. ladders and drops and all that fun stuff are exactly what i've been looking for. definately put up some dates and directions from denver. i havent build much in my day but definately a hard worker and am totally willing.
