    I am in south evergreen...

we got ~6 inches yesterday, getting a lot of melt today, it the weather continues clear and warm evrgrn/3sis should be clear by this weekend.... but it appears that more snow is in the forecast for thursday.

I would imagine given the melt, that it is way too wet today.

For those of you who thought it was too snowy to ride today

Here's some pics from my snow-free, tacky goodness spin around Heil. I took the Superlight, which is way different than my Turners. I found that if I just stayed in middle chain ring and hammered on through the rocks it was nearly as plush. Nearly.

    Thanks!

nothing that I felt guilty about riding through. My tires were almost clean by the time I got back to the parking lot. Really, just tacky goodness. Of course, that's before tomorrows storm.

    update from Evergreen/Conifer

4+ inches of heavy, wet, wet, snow, and still coming down. things will really have to change to make the local trails ready to ride on Saturday.

did I mention that this stuff is really wet?

Yesterday, Chimney Gulch was perfectly tacky. It was a bit muddy in some spots at the top though. Should be fine this weekend. it is going to be real warm Sat and Sun.
