    Cool-blue Rhythm The Fort Report

Trails are looking good. Pineridge, Maxwell, Shoreline, Res. Ridge all rideable! Damp, mostly tacky in a few spots. Tried hitting the East Trail in Lory as well. Too wet! Don't bother, dirt jumps not ready either.

Backbone is good also, superb conditions yesterday late afternoon/early evening when the weather cleared up. Nice and tacky, no mud.

Anyone with time to ride tomorrow? My day is open (minus a pile of phone calls to make and some car brakes to service.....).

Larry- my tire situation has not improved since we last spoke.

Hey Chad. I know Jamie is planning to ride (mid-day I think), and I'm hoping to get out also but it may be late in day as I have a lot of work to do.

If it gets to 55 tomorrow then DBB and Blue Sky should be oh so nice.

Few more weeks and it will be looking like this!

I'm planning on riding from the dog park around 6pm, returning after dark. If anyone is interested in a foothills folly.

Lory State Park Dirt Jump / Pump Track work day Saturday April 5th. We'll be out early. 8am. We need all the help we can get. Bring shovels, rakes, brooms, food and water. Questions: Call the Park office 1.970.493.1623. I don't get cell coverage at the park. I'll try to answer questions here until Sat. morning.

Foothills from Pineridge to Michaud and back was primo this afternoon

All dry as bone, even after 4 snows this past week.

Look out for the packs of unleashed dogs in the middle of the trail if you come out towards the dog park !!

There were at least 12-15 dogs off leash, running up/down the drop to the dog park w/owners barely in sight/control.

Almost made me lose my "Rules of Etiquette" and force somebody off, but I stepped off the trail to let the 6 women, all side by side, with no hint of moving aside, go by.

My tongue still is a bit bloody from not telling them what I thought of their dogs off leash.

Everyone who showed up to Lory State Park and helped out with the jumps, THANKS! They are going to be super duper. Still got some finishing up to do Sunday 4.6.08.

Near an inch of the white stuff in my yard, and it is still coming down. The forecast looks wet for the rest of the week, too.

I'm sure glad I got out Friday and Saturday.

As of 6:20 PM 4/7/08 it "maybe" quite snowing

The clouds have lifted enough to show a VERY white HTMP.

Forecast for Wed/Thurs does not sound good at all.

Maxwell, Shoreline, and Michaud are great.

We'll see how the storm coming in affects things.

    Fort Update:
maxwell/shorline/michaud are tacky and rideable, at least for now (hasn't started raining yet...)
Front side of bobcat ridge was dry last night, still nice and tacky but it was dry enough that we weren't leaving any tracks, unlike the people who rode it in the mornign who put some nice big ruts in
