    First timers

A friend and I are heading out to Breckenridge on July 24 for a week. We plan to go to Trestle and Keystone for sure. Is it worth going to Vail and /or Granby Ranch also? Does anyone know if any of the trails be open to the public during the Freeride Festival in Trestle? We also plan to do some XC and would like some suggestions around the Breck area.
    Thanks all.

CO trail in Breck, guide books have lotsa route options.

Stay away from Vail as Breck has better riding options and nightlife.

    Dunno about WP.

All the trails at WP will be open with partial closures for the different races at different times. Usually finished by midday. The friday afternoon of the festival is probably the busiest time.

Have not ridden Vail. Granby Ranch has the biggest jumps around, and I hear they went from gaps to tables this year. They have short runs. You can definitely spend 2 days at Trestle, and 2 at Key if you like techy stuff.

If it was me, I would do Trestle, Key, and XC the rest.
