    First snow of 2010

    in Bailey/Pine area. After 3 days of very low barometric pressure the precip. is finally moving in. The temperature just dropped 10 degrees in 10 minutes.

    Was coming down up at Winter Park today. Found lots of unspoiled powder in the trees up top

    We got a 2' snow today.





    The flakes fell 2' feet apart The cars didn't even get wet

    I'm definitely getting old. 'a 2' snow' - That's the sorta stuff my uncle used to say when he wasn't burning a hole in the daylight.

    Nice 7news says SW mountains already have 6-12" of new snow this morning. We got squat! At least it's cold enough to stabilize the trails again.
