    February 03, 2008 - Technical Bliss

Yesterday was a good day to be on a bike. It must have been a good day to be on skis too because our group of technical trail seekers consisted of only Kristian and me.

With no pace to abide by and nowhere to be that afternoon we rode only a few trails, but took our sweet time doing it. The result was a snail's pace, but tons of sessioning and interesting lines (some new, some old) to show for it.

Climbing shots... That's a first for us.

A trail thatís too difficult wouldnít exist because itíd never be used. But, trails can exist thatíre too difficult for you.

... and if we just ...

    thanks for sharing...

not every day you get to see a two-headed snake on the trail.

.And following our will and wind . . .
. . .We'll ride the spiral to the end
and may just go where no one's been.

Good stuff - that is a pretty burly looking line in the third pic.

It must be contagious, I spent a good hour chasing Klaus uphill on Saturday. - turns out he's as fit as he is fearless.
    Now with more vitriol!

Here are mine (x-posted from Passion).

No one ever posts pictures of climbing!

OK, downhill pictures are more interesting than climbing...

    A different angle.

Another picture of a flat, easy climb.

I planned on making this shot black and white, but I really loved the rust colored leaves to much to part with...

A reminder we were riding in 29 degree temps in February.

Nicholas, your climbing pictures make stuff look harder than mine. The same goes for the roller pic you took of me. Great stuff!

I didn't know you posted those in the passion forum. I never venture there unless I need some cheap entertainment.

Everything looks flat in the pictures.
