Expert Mechanic new to Denver area, looking for work

    Hello,
Just moved in yesterday. Life has taken the wife and I to Denver. While I have lived in Colorado before, I have never lived in the metro area. The wife's job moved and mine did not. Just figured I would put a call out, if anybody knows of any shop in the area looking for a wrench I would appreciate a nod. 12+ years experience turning wrenches, and a year spent buying for a big shop in Marin county. Plenty of industry/professional references. I know the season is slowing down but I figured to throw this out there none the less.
    Thanks
    Andy

Good luck! I've seen quite a few people open "Service" only type shops lately and they're doing well although I'd imagine winters will be lean.

Locally, save craigslist, this is the only locally aggregated bike list that I know of... 303Cycling News | Boulder/Denver Cycling News

Visit Marko at American Cyclesport, in Castle Rock. They are the USA's very first KTM bikes dealer. Good guy....

I have 3 friends working at Bending Wrenches. They say its a great shop with lots of work. Look it up and ask if they are hiring.

Just saw that Salvagetti is hiring. Check their Facebook page for info. Great shop, I worked there for 3 years until I moved.

If Salvagetti is hiring, go over there today. That's one of the best shops you'll find in the immediate metro area (without having to drive) for wrenching.

Yes he is agood guy. But its a small shop and there are now 3 shops in Castle Rock which seems like way too many for that small of a town. Hope the demand is there for them.

Right. But 3 bike shops? Its not like Golden where there are way more trails nearby and the population is a lot more bike oriented.

But there is a lot of money in the surrounding area. They may not all survive depending if they have different business models. Never been to any of them but there could be enough demand.
