9-11pm If anyone's interested - should be WAY fewer people than last night (for those who went)

Speaking of, we should get a tally of those Team RPR members who are interested in doing the team membership @ ESPN ($50 initially, for the entire team, and the membership entitles us to a rate of $5 per visit thereafter). This is the same as the "industry discount" offered to shop employees etc...

Sounds cool - Wes is interested, and I know one other who may be interested also.

    cool

I'm most likely gonna head down there and play around with you guys... One thing though. Do you think that my Gemini will be overkill? You should come on up to Boulder and do some urban with us. It's pretty cool at night

Sometime soon I'll have to head up there with you guys. I'm gettin somewhat good with the Titan on street stuff. I can stall on top of things with the rear wheel now (1/10 tries ) and I sort of learned how to pedal kick, just gotta practice more.

Turns out that five years of not mountain biking, really makes one strive to get back to it.

    Nice

That's way more than I can do like that. Need a hard tail I hear. But I mostly just jump off of stairs and ledges and random things around campus, can be a very fun place if you know where to go. Hope to ride with you soon

Ahem, I'll be sure to leave mine at home then......

What's the non-team, dude-off-the-street price of admission? Any particular bike equipment related rules I must abide by?

You'll be fine on the Gemini. Sure a HT would be ideal, but I have seen guys riding old FSR DH bikes there before - and besides, the whole point of going is to make you smoother on the trail (what better bike to do this with than your trail bike?)

I went last night (monday) after almost not going because of how busy it was on sunday night, but there were only about 20-25 bikes there! It was awesome. Hopefully, it'll be about the same on weds.

I'm fairly certain it will be dead on Weds - the forecast for today and tomorrow is calling for 60's - it's almost always empty on such days since all of the kids will hit the outdoor parks and it's a school night.

Okay, I just got the lowdown from EXPN. Team memberships are $50, however, these memberships are limited to no more than 5 people. The other side of this, though, is that they offer the same deal to industry people (shop employees, etc...) so those of you who have that option might consider going that route in order to leave a space for someone else. In order to qualify as a team, you need to have letterhead, a website, or something along those lines (though, as far as I can tell there are no hard and fast rules) The guy I talked to said that they have had problems with kids forming "teams" in the past simply to score better pricing and that they are hoping to avoid these sort of issues in the future by placing some kind of requirements on "team" memberships. Memberships, as stated before, are good for 1 year from the date of purchase, and entitle members to $5 sessions.

Oh yeah - the session runs from 9-11 tomorrow (I plan on showing up around 8:30 Jerry)

Rally-Do you want to car pool down there? I was at Scott Carpenter this morning and it was pretty good. Still some snow and ice on some of the trannies but still good.

ETR-I've been know to be "in industry" from time to time. I'm working until 7 this evening. If you are so inclined though you can swing by the shop anytime. Corner of Pearl and Broadway. Do you want to go to the SK8 park on wed night? Looks like Rally and I are carpooling?
