    1) Looking down the Silver Creek canyon from Continental Divide south of Marshall Pass.
    2) Silver Creek Trail about a mile off the divide. That one at sunrise after riding through the night up to Marshall, out and back on Crest Trail.
    3) Rainbow Trail Near Highway 285.

Here's one from about 3 hours before 2) (the sunrise one) I took it with self-timer while my friend napped in the woods. Notice my intelligent expression. It's 4 AM, do you know where your red bull is?

I haven't had much chance recently to feel that way on a ride. Although, I did manage to get out on the White Rim with the family last weekend. It was at the four year old and six year old pace, but it was awesome.

I have been spending lots of quality family time lately. Almost no riding (one of the reasons I needed a stoke thread). Good job taking em out to Moab!

Good on ya for getting the quality time. Family First. That picture is deceiving in so many ways, she doesn't look that grown up for a start.

A stoke thread is better than naught. Plus you can ride when your dead and cold.

    Moar entertainment

From several months back, way out in the Big Bend of Texas...

And yes, that's a rare sighting of the notorious FoldsInHalf with a real bike. Borrowed a 19lb carbon 29er to do the 60+ mile Fresno-Sauceda IMBA Epic during the festival. Good times. Full write up here: Chihuahuan Desert Bike Fest

Not enough entertainment for ya? Tons more MTB adventures and pics from all over the USA, mostly on my eponymous folding 20er, can be found here.

Of if you want a little break from all the MTB stoke... we just finished a couple months of windsurfing on the Texas coast, of which I made a little video you can view here.

Hey we're heading back to Colorado soon for yet another summer. Usual suspects. Denver, CB, DGO, etc. See y'all soon.

Late '80s, really. I actually still have a flannel my brother bought me for my birthday in '89 or '90 that I wear occasionally. And the lack of ironic mustache should dash any ideas of me being even remotely "hip".
