    Eldora race

So did anybody race the XC course with one of those new fancy Garmin Edge gps computers. I am curious as to what the altitude per lap was.

My guess is somewhere between 600 and 800 feet.

Ps. That is my favorite race around here. I heard good things about angel fire, but this course is the best one I can think of.

    Fun Stuff

That course is one of the better ones around. It has a little bit of everything. Steeps, flats, Colorado style descents, east coast style descents, etc. It was especially fun when it started raining on the last lap.

Those two steep sections at the top always kick my @ss.

    Altimeter

With a barometric altimeter I got 790 feet total per lap. I was getting 700' at the top of the climb.

Yeah, it was nice to meet you too. You didn't do too bad yourself considering all you do is work on your house.

I'll be at Snowmass but probably won't make it to Telluride. Stupid work,

I look forward to that report.

BTW, I was sporting my muddy mountain shoes on my road ride yesterday.

D@mn, I gotta big brain... good guess huh?

Of course giving a 25% spread helps .

I wish they listed our lap times. My hrt rate monitor crapped the bed 1/2 hr before the start, so I can only guess my lap times. A snapped chain within the first 15 minutes didn't help either.
