... and if we just ... Early Morning Bike Parts

This is clearly a shameless self promotion for Salvagetti. But, we wanted to let people know that we have a "bike thru window" open at 7am for bike parts and for coffee (delicious coffee that is). Short and sweet... http://www.happycoffeeco.com

    Thanks.

    That's cool.
It's a little out of my way, but may as well try it some time next week.

I've wondered for years why no one has done a bike/bar combo. If you want to have a coffee in a bike shop and talk with folks; why not have a beer as well? I'm not saying get hammered and ride your bike home; but have a beer or two while hanging out in a bike shop would be pretty cool.

Have a happy hour, 1/2 off drinks with the purchase of any bike accessory
You have just been mentally Rick Roll'd. Yup you're thinking about it right now aren't you? Don't fight it.

Exactly, cheapo bikers would expect discounted beers just like they expect discounted bike parts.

Fine, no happy hour for you then. How about a frequent shopper card? Spend $100, get a beer! I'm just throwing out ideas here folks. Really I'd go to a bike shop to have a beer regardless of deals, it would just be a cool bar.

Just not PBR, keep those freaking hipsters out.

Fort Collins already has a bike/bar combo. Haven't been there myself.

There is a liquor store across the street.

I think the reality is that liquor licenses are expensive and hard to get; and alcohol, despite our best intentions, doesn't always bring out the best in people....or bring in the best people.
Coffee has shown to do both.

I said no PBR so no hipsters, so where's the problem?

But I never figured they'd keep the shop open until 2am, just sell beer during normal hours, maybe a little later. But if a liquor license is that expensive it might not be a worthy investment then.
