    Devil's Backbone at 10:30 (Saturday)

Going for a ride at Devil's Backbone at 10:30 if anyone is interested in joining me. Probably riding to the picnic table (farther if possible) and back out. If I keep waiting until it gets warmer/drier out, it will be July and my bike will have an inch of dust on it.

Going to Spring Creek Trail today

Hey, I'm heading from my house in Loveland to the west end of Spring Creek Trail today around 1:00. If your plan falls through, or if you just want another ride, PM me and we'll make arrangements. Been here for 3 months (moved from Alaska) and have gone on a total of 3 rides - really itching to get out there.

Riding today is sooo stoopid. I plan to be at the trail head at 10:30am. Blue Heckler, yellow vest.

Great 2 1/2 hour snow ride at DBB

Thanks to Pat and Steph for coming out on the DBB snow ride this morning. A little slick in some spots but overall a great ride through DBB and over Indian Summer. Why watch everyone else play in the snow (in Vancouver) when you can play in it yourself around here.

How was it climbing Heart Attack Ridge in the snow? Were you running your normal tyres or did you switch out to something more snow oriented?
One day your life will flash before your eyes, will it be worth watching??

The tires were no problem at all, I was running ignitors and my wife had racing ralphs. It was the legs this time of year that was the problem.

Sorry for missing you. I was at the trail head at 10:30am. All by myself. I waited for a few and then took off. My daughter says she saw two cars when she drove of the parking lot. Guess that was you.

I rode through the Bone to Blue Sky. Met cytoe along the way and we did Indian plus Blue Sky to the north together. We split there each of us heading home. It was a cool ride.

Thanks for instigating the adventure. And again sorry for my impatience. I simply didn't count on anybody showing up due to weather and lack of replies to the OP.

It looked like from the tracks that we were just behind you on the trail. We were wondering if the fat tires were Cytoe's tracks. Every time we stopped I thought we would see you guys out there.

I had a good ride with my buddy Aaron. First time on a 29 SS. It was fun but rough going with the 32/18 setup.

Yup, was a fun ride. Started from my house, up Coyote/Rimrock to the DBB/Bluesky connector where I ran into Klaus. We then did Indian and Bluesky North. Klaus then hit the road home (poor guy), and I headed back on Bluesky.

Sorry we missed you Kaba Klaus. We must have only been a few minutes behind you leaving the parking lot. Let me know when you are going out again.

That was a nice GF rig you had coldsteele. Wish I could turn a 32/18 right now.

Thanks guys for posting the pics to show how crazy/stupid (I mean dedicated ) we are.

    Another great day @ DBB

We had another fun ride in the snow this morning, The trail was still good with only about 3 to 4" of new snow. Here are a couple of pics I took before running out of memory (forgot the memory card in my computer )

Only 3-4" new snow out there? Wow that's awesome I've got at least 7-8 on my wall rail in the back yard it seems like.

I've got a good 12" here in north FC. If DBB didn't get as much snow I may have to head down there today.

8.5" on my deck near the bottom of Maxwell. Maybe today's sun will take care of some of that.
