Hm... how long do you think we'd be riding? And probably just around the skatepark and such?

Gotta find it all out before so I can develop a proposal to my parents, and make it as persuasive as possible.

There is a lot of stuff to play on within a mile or so of the skatepark, so you could really stay as long as the rents will allow and head out when you need to.

Sounds like fun. There won't be people waiting around to rape me or aynthing will there? No gang members ready to jump us all in the alleys?

I'll ask them in a bit.

I was thinking the same thing. I'll have to cross post this on my Denver Gang Rapist forum... Wear something loose and revealing.

Does it qualify as rape if, technically, your @ss has been traded to gang members for meth by the "adults" charged with your care? If not, then the answer would be "no"

A new skatepark opens in Louisville tomorrow with a Grand Opening celebration. I can't find information on bike allowances, though. I think I might check it out if I'm not too hung over after my Battle of the Bands competition tonight.

Will it be open to bikes? Also, how far north of Denver is Louisville? I haven't been up that far in many years so I have no idea. If it's open to bikes we ought to meet up there tomorrow afternoon.

I've heard from a reliable source that we are supposed to be getting a skatepark in Roxborough this next summer, don't know how I'll manage with a skatepark 5 minutes (by bike) from my front door.

Sorry we'll miss your band tonight Grant - you'll have to put the word out next time you guys play so we can come harass you.

Definitely. I actually think we *might* be playing in downtown Denver this next Tuesday, but is not yet confirmed. I will definitely let you guys know next time.

Josh, I have a tiny skatepark about a 5minute ride from my house. It's tiny though and all cement. Definitely made for skateboarders but its fun to hit sometimes.

Word. Which place should it be at? Doesn't really matter much to me except I don't know if my parents will let me drive all the way from here to Louisville through T-Rex and all that....especially at night. Who knows.

My band's name is The William Perry Project. The finals for the Battle of the Bands at the Bottoms Up Tavern in Aurora is tonight and tomorrow night. We drew the worst timeslot, I think, because we go on at 8:30. The bar is at I-225 and Parker Road - http://www.bottomsuptavern.com for directions / info.

I just rode through the Denver park to check it out at 4:30. Everything's dry! But it was *really* crowded. Should be at very least a good meeting place tomorrow.

Rocky I might be able to help out with gas, or I might go up on my own. Not sure yet.

Todd, talked to my dad and he says unless my mom can watch my brother and sister tomorrow night I can't because he's going to a mardi gras party and will be out all night. Hopefully my mom can watch my sibligns....

I really hate to say it, but I'm going to have to back out of tonight's ride. I really want to do this again sometime soon, though. My hip joint is actually causing me a lot of problems and I'm going to have to see a doctor early next week to find out what's wrong with it. Have fun, though!
