    Denver area rentals?

My friend and I are in CO for a week, and are planning on heading in to Denver (Centennial and Highlands Ranch actually) Sunday to visit some friends. Is there anywhere in Denver where we can rent decent bikes and pedal to the trails? Our rental car is a tad small....... We brought helmets, shoes and pedals but left the bikes home since we knew we'd only have 1-2 days to bike.

So if we rent from Golden Bike Shop, what trails can we pedal to from the shop, without spending too much time on the road?

Good rides, closest: Chimney Gulch, Apex.
Good rides a little farther, but no more than 1/2 hour bike ride away: White Ranch, Green Mtn, Dakota Ridge/Matthews Winters.
North or South Table Mtn are very close, but not the most thrilling riding compared to the others above.
Ask bike shop for directions, or check out the trail reviews on this website.
And post up for conditions, when you decide where to go.

Andy is right. You'll have all you can throw at the bikes from Golden, plus a good brew at the Golden City Brewery.
