    Dakota Ridge - "clinics"

I am always looking for riders to ride Dakota Ridge with. I'm a good downhiller, and better climber. In race terms, probably a Sport DH and Expert XC, but I like very technical stuff. That said, every time I ride with someone at Dakota Ridge -- someone willing to try anything & everything there -- I learn something new.

I'll be there at noon on Sunday the 10th at the Matthew Winters upper parking lot (just south of US40/I70 intersection). I'm the guy with the Maverick and the green MINI cooper. I have about 3 hours to ride, which means at least a couple of laps depending on how you loop it. I like to ride both south and north on the ridge/hogback. Anyone else interested?

I'll be riding Keystone on Sunday, but I'd be down for riding DR with you sometime. I'm not a very fast climber, but I've been known to be a kinda fast downhiller.

Hmmm, I don't think I've been on DR/MW since May. Don't know about this talk of "clinic" or multiple laps though...
Since when did Need have anything to do with this?

I'm going to shoot for pulling into the lower lot around 11, that should have me rolling by the upper 'round noon. Aiming low, one lap sounds like enough.

    Cool...see you there

With the weather, we'll see how much we actually get in. We won't do many laps if we try sections again and again until we get them. Which is always entertaining!

Funny, I saw a green Maverick on top of a blue mini cooper this am @ Downing/Louisiana.

On another note, why don't we just call them Coopers? Is there another type of Cooper in the states thats not mini?

If you are around louisiana and downing, then I am right around the corner. Do you ever do road rides from the casa. Let me know.
