How's yours standing up, Kirk? I took a fat hunk out of mine at Hall the other day, but it has stood up better than I expected. The acrylic ain't great, but it works. Crunch.
If you're interested in mass marketing use www.emachineshop.com. I've got a design that I'm working on for trials. They'll do injection molding as well as CNC if you're into that.

Anyone know if SDizzle is still around (don't see him post anymore) and if he is still crafting these bash guards? I'm exploring options for a bash guard for my XTR 960 crankset.
I've got a good friend who is a wizard at fabrication, and he will probably end up making me a custom one, but he is super busy and it may be some time before he can get to it. So I'm looking for a temporary solution.
I'll post some info I found for anyone else who finds themself looking for a solution. After extensive searching, I've found a couple of things:
1. Boone ti makes one that replaces the outer ring. Cool looking but expensive for a temp. solution.
2. Hammerhead has made some in the past - haven't been able to get a response from them about the availability yet.
I just got done making a bash guard for my 32T crank on my urban rig. I had a guy give me a bunch of 3/8 inch smoke colored Polycarbonate that he got from work. Evidently the windows in the Light Rail trains are polycarbonate. Any how I would be more than happy to give you(free) some of the poly if you want to make it yourself. I also work at a do it yourself woodworking shop(kind of spam, I know) that you could come and use all the tools nessiscary to do all your cuts if you wanted. I may also be willing to make it for you, but I would need the cranks in hand, or at very very least your middle ring so I can make a template. Just let me know.
I'll try to post up a pic tomorrow of the bash guard that I made.

Thanks for the offer, but I actually had already made my own then I found out my buddy who I bought the cranks from already had a Boone bashguard. So I bought his Boone Bash guard for about 1/2 price and ditched my home made POS.
