That looks like fun Jim! Sometime next summer or whenever I'm up in the area with my Titan or Todd's SGS when i have the money I'll have to meet you guys up at those jumps, they look like fun.

    is making a comeback.

Turns out that five years of not mountain biking, really makes one strive to get back to it.

Yeah, two good places to play right here close.

ehhhh, having a hard time getting adjusted to the bike. I gained 2" of wheelbase and the weight distribution is way off from the Cham. By the end of that day (Saturday), I was hitting that stepdown and beginning to get used to it a bit, but djing early in the day was a disaster. That was the first day of getting off the ground with it, so we'll see. Getting 15' out of that stepdown wasn't a bad first day I guess. It is severely underforked though, but that'll have to wait until after xmas.

What are you up to these days?

yea well, all things in time. You've been on your hardtail for so long any bike change is going to screw ya up. I'm pretty sure the awkward stage won't last too long for ya.

Riding, looking for work (again) or the elusive sugar-momma, traveling and riding. Lotsa hardtail/street riding this summer, learned to manual (woohoo!, only took about 1.5 years) and looking forward to a long cold snowy winter at the indoor skatepark. Also, no matter what anyone says, that wasn't me they saw riding into the woods with a shovel & bucket over my shoulder. Nope. Wasn't me.

side note: the closest dirt jumps I have are a 40 minute drive ... and ruled by 360-ing bmx teenagers. count your blessings!
