See, if doesn't take any time at all to build these trails!

Thats fricken cool. It takes some serious will power stop during those flowy tech sections and break out the camera to capture the riding. I need a week in Moab.

Is the whole enchilada dry? that would be a really early to be able to do it.. Last time I went in mid May we were only able to ride UPS and down..

You know I honestly couldn't tell you as it will be my first time since I just moved to CO. I'm going with some people that have done it before but maybe you are right. I'd be happy with 3/4 or even 1/2 of that descent.

^^^ Apparently as of this past weekend, according to a post over in the UT forum people were accessing UPS via a short ride uphill on Kokopelli. Between now and early May, it'll all depend on how many storms roll through.

I'm heading out to Fruita/Moab the weekend of 4/19 and hoping to ride Amasa Back and Ahab, so I'll be sure to take pics and report back.

It's only open UPS down currently (maybe Koko down?). I doubt it will be ready Burro down until late May/early June. THere's still 17 inches at the Lasal Mt snotel site (9500 ft) - Burro is almost 2 grand higher.

Might want to re-think that. Upper parts of Burro are not rideable until July most years

We rode Cpt.Ahab on Saturday, it's a fun trail, with nice technical x/c up top, and fun easy rolls on the DH parts.

Snow was blowing into the LaSal's as we left this morning, riding the upper trails might get delayed a bit.

^^^ That's not all the way up Amasa (past the cliffhanger section) to the lookout, right? Just to the junction with Ahab?

I rode w/ my wife and we did Amassaback to the top Ahab trailhead, then down Ahab.

I'm thinking the $$ is to ride up AB to CA, then back up AB to RS to J's.

Awesome video, both the trail building and riding. Rode both upper and lower a couple weeks ago and love it!

C' Ahab is a fun trail but Jackson's and Rockstacker are more so...It does make for a nice short loop though.
