    Conditions? Sourdough, West Mag, etc.

Thinking about hitting something today, maybe SD or WM. Anyone got the low down? Also, planning a trip for the second week of March, thinking about Winter Park, maybe Kenosha, what will the trails be like? You guys RAWK!

I took off yesterday from work and rode sourdough to SSV, all the way to Brainerd lake and back. Absolutely no snow, except a couple 40 foot deep drifts near the lake. It's ready to RAWK!

Some of the trails may be packed enough for a PUGSLEY!

I would recommend either waxless or klister for West Mag, as it's been a bit warm and it's getting icy. It was snowing when we finished today and by tomorrow it may be extra-blue or special-purple. The groomed stuff at Eldora is in great shape for either skate or classic. No rocks, or rawks.

Both Winter Park and Kenosha should be great in March! Bring your whole quiver. Classic in the morning while it's cold and then switch to skate in the afternoon. The backcountry and the mountain should also be a blast.

I like 'em either blond and fruity or dark and chocolaty

    Thx Ejp

THX for the snow report, I hope to get up to Eldora tomorrow for a little Nordic, unless it snows a lot, which it is not supposed to do...in which case I'd ride the lifts first.

West Mag, Sourdough, I'd bring my metal edges. Keonsha pass has been closed a lot this winter, maybe the wind has blown all the snow away.

I rode 505 up over Caribou yesterday and took Rainbow Lakes Road all the way over to Brainard. It's good to go man. There is a bit of a drift on the top of Caribou, but it shouldn't be too much of a problem.

... and if we just ...

I was thinking west mag should be ok by July and Sourdough in August. Must have some good melt lately or I've been punked.

Good news, can't wait to hit it again up there. Really my favorite area of all the front range trails.
