    Colorado Springs evening ride 7/10/13

Is anyone up for riding after the long holiday weekend?
I was thinking about riding the canyon, it should be nice with the recent rainfall. I'm open to suggestions though.
Let me know what everyone thinks.

Last week you were talking about Ute, but I would be up for the Canyon.

I'd be stoked for some Karma in the Canyon! I'm in, but I may be slowish on Buckhorn.

I'm game for the canyon. Can't do ute logistically this week. But either way should be fun.

The canyon sounds good to me, however we need to hit Ute soon.

Maybe we'll plan for Ute next week. I just thought we'd throw in the canyon this week beings that it's been a while since we've ridden there and mother nature has been kind to us lately.

We'll see if the resorts have any pull on me this week. If I go up, just consider this as me just saying hi to all you fellars..

Alright, it's officially humpday and I'm ready to ride!
As Joe mentioned we'll be meeting at the Stratton open space parking lot at the bottom of the Chutes at 6pm.
This is a medium/chill pace group ride so all are welcome to show up, we are always welcome to new comers.
    Is it 6 yet?

Does anyone have a spare rain coat? I have my old back-up one, but it's lost a lot of it's waterproofedness. This could be a wet ride (but I'm hoping it will be a powder day)!

I have one you can use. It's not cycling specific and it's a large, but it is a somewhat light jacket and will keep you dry if you want to use it.

The weather animation makes it look like the storm is going to pass through before 6. We could be looking at some pretty nice traction tonight.

Yeah, I love the monsoonal pattern--you can almost set your watch for 6:00pm in July and then plan to stick to the walls on CJ's.

    Miracle traction!!!

We missed you Paul! The gnar shredded at least Keith, Arin and myself and possibly a few others at some point, but the ride was a blast! The CJ's conditions were very good, but Stratton was a little loose still--I think that's why/where we all went down. Nothing was too serious though.

That was probably the fastest I've ever ridden down CJ's! It was a blast following Keith and Arin in full on rally mode!

    Colorado Springs evening ride 7/10/13

Was a great ride for sure! I had fun but the ride into work this morning took a bit longer, my legs and toe were feeling it.
