White is the new black. Totally unnecessary, but way the hell fun! And good lookin'!

Can't forget these....Juicy Carbons...waaaay high on the flair factor. Someone told me they had Ti hardware, which is pretty cool. But you know what the best thing about them is? The sweet-@ss box they come in! That alone is worth the $40 extra per wheel!

I hear ya on those Juicy Carbons! Sram always goes overboard on their packaging. My XO RD came in a tin that now holds odd bolts and my Juicy Carbon boxes now house my daughters art supplies.

Finally getting some pics out of your new ride(s) huh? I'm looking forward to seeing the Sunday tomorrow! What bike are your pieces of flair going on? A Nomad?

P.S. The Juicy 7s are the best brakes around. Especially with the super-fancy carbon levers and aluminum knob!

Yep, they're going on the KnowMad. Should get here next week some time. Can you guess what color it is?

Oh the Sunday is pretty freakin' sweet! I got it all dirty before I could take any pics of it. Lame, I know...but it looks pretty much just like Todd's. The head angle is waaay more slack than my DHR, which is a little weird still. But the thing eats trails alive. Seriously. I've got some learnin' to do...

Hey waitaminute... Isn't pink the new black? Would this make white the new pink?! And what is black? I wonder how long it would take me to get my Mono back if I sent it off to get powdercoated white? I guess I'll be seeing you guys next season - someone give me a heads-up if things change again.

Nah dude, that was sooooo 2005! Can't you keep up?

I'm not the only one getting into white. Yesterday I saw a team of White Lapierre bikes at White Ranch. Wait a minute...white bikes, white ranch....coincidence? Or just ghey...you be the judge. Hahaha

White powder-coating aside, what is the ETA on teh Mono-lith?

White is in until Marzocchi changes all that in Sept at Interbike or August in Austria or whatever...it does look good, though. Thank God it's not "Desert Storm" again!

I thought Manitou had some potential with the Camo, but it didn't seem to take off...

Not that I have a big bike yet. Maybe by next wkend?
In case anybody's wondering, it's been raining in SF since around 1:30, not looking like it's worth the trip to Sea Otter. Altho, if my bro-in-law is still planning on racing Sun (xc ss) I may have to go watch him suffer.

    Lookin' good Ryan.

Nice choice on the Deity. We'll definitely be matching as I just received my white Deity bars and stem today. It's awesome.

Turns out that five years of not mountain biking, really makes one strive to get back to it.

Thanks! But actually, only the Nomad will be brand new. This is my first brand-spanking new bike since 2001! The Sunday and the DHR were both bought used.

I'm pleased to say that I am still among the living. I have a feeling the learning curve is going to be a steep one if yesterday is any indication - but so far the Mono makes my other rides feel like XC bikes. I've already got a decent gouge in the swingarm too, so I don't need to worry about it anymore.
