    Centennial Cone Crowded, BS

At least at 8:30am on a Saturday when its 32 degrees outside. I was the first one in the parking lot and didn't see anyone until I turned back onto Mayhem to head home at around 10:15. It was nice to ride in the sun after the snow and rain last weekend but, brrrrr, when is summer going to get here??

Hey, at least it's sunny. We got 8" of snow overnight and it's still grey with flurries up here.

Guns, there have to be guns up there. Guns are worth 8 pages.

Guns... Isn't it weird that in Jeffco the park signs say no firearms but in Boulder they don't?

I think its the out and back that scares off some of the people. Plus the super technical sections I rode there Friday afternoon about four oclock and kept thinking the after work crowd would be showing up soon. They never did. And I was one of two people on the whole trail.

You can carry in JeffCo Open Space, but the weapon can't be openly visible... which I assume means you would need your CCW to carry in JeffCo Open Space.

If that's the case, let's push for longer closure dates

I know what you mean about the tech sections, as you can see in my picture, it get's kind of hairy when those pebbles jump out at you There's a reason this is my wife's favorite MTB ride

Yep, again, nobody else on the trails until around 9 when I was leaving

It seems to attract the more laid back crowd compared to White Ranch where the parking lot is never empty no matter what time I get there.
