All the wankers are responding in the other thread, but I'll give this bad boy a little bump.

I may be able to make this one. Be cool to see what you guys have done in person.

Mr. Skilz, when you say meet at the "park" at 10am, you mean the Matthew Winters parking lot or what?

Anybody have exact directions or address so I can mapquest it?

I think we need to make a solid line out of all those small skinnies on the side or something.

Turns out that five years of not mountain biking, really makes one strive to get back to it.

That is a sick drop - you saw the aftermath (in the same post) didn't you? Makes you wonder if he'll be wearing pads next time.

Gots lots of stuff accomplished the other day so we just got to build a flowy section, still meeting at 10am at the TREX lot intersection of i70 and 40 @ morrison. Weather looks good maybe a snow shower in the afternoon, i will bring up food to bbq out. The sheriff stopped by yesterday and we were getting a lil close with the wall ride so that has to be nixed. Also we need to park some cars in my driveway on the other side of the land not to block the road. Sunday will prolly be mainly a riding day seeing that there is not much more to build.(til the thaw)

    See ya there

    yup

should be a great time. Too bad than you can't go. Probably going to be the last one, or one more if we are lucky. If anyone can make it.... YOU SHOULD. I even think that Bob might make the long haul up there. Have a good one

Definitely, I really hope that there is one more build/ride day up there like next weekend. My parents are just anal about me going places where there's going to be people of considerable age older than me because they have 'more responsibilities' than I do and can do a lot more things and might pressure me into alcohol... Plus with trick-or-treating tomorrow for my brother my dad said it was going to be too busy of a day. If I actually had a decent excuse and gas money I would have just driven up there but seeing as how I dont have much of either my trip will have to wait. Atleast I got to ride some Palmer Park today.

Sweet - from the look / feel of things, my foot /ankle are not broken. I've been kind of walking around on it throughout the day and have strong suspicion that it is just very bruised. I'm planning to be up there tommorrow and might actually get to ride some stuff (though I'm not sure that the drops would be a good plan before I get the "all clear - quit being a puss." from the orthopedic on Monday). I got the fork on the bike - so you can check it out Rally Blue. looking forward to seeing y'all in the late morning / early afternoon.

Understandable concern. Parents that worry, care. I thought it was pretty cool that your dad came up last time, took the time out of his day so that you could ride and do the things you wanna do. Good on him.

If it's a mostly ride day, I guess I'm out. I got a freaking hernia (what a shitty year) at the ripe age of 28, so I'm off the bike for awhile. I blame it on singlespeeding.
