    Buffalo Creek Snow?

Anyone know if there is snow buildup in the Buffalo Creek area? We got a small dumping here in COS this week and I haven't heard how things are in those parts. I'm thinking of a Saturday ride and don't really want to slosh through the snow if I don't have to. Thanks for the scoop.

    Snow....

Called USFS and they said 8" of snow in wooded areas as of two days ago-ish. Looks like it's Indian Creek for me tomorrow.
    Just keep spinning.

    just came back

there are about three inches on buff creek road. don't even think about baldy/sandywash as there are too many trees for the sun to get through and melt the snow. plus, some people have been riding them and tracking them out. you get some nasty ice tracks from where they are refreezing. shingle mill/morrison creek are a tiny bit muddy in spots but are nice. those two are in the best shape by far.

of course, who knows what a couple days of warmth and sun might accomplish...
