Good job! BUFFALO CREEK, LITTLE SCRAGGY TRAIL WORK, Saturday, October 26th

Government has restarted and we shall continue with trail work!

    REGISTER ONLINE!

We are back and on Saturday, October 26th, we値l continue our work on the newest trail in Buffalo Creek.  We finished about half of the Kelsey Campground loop on our last work day and our goal is to finish it before the snow flies. Time permitting, we値l continue north working on the Little Scraggy loop. The main tread is already cut, so our focus will be finishing the trail tread using hand tools. We provide the tools and guidance so there痴 no experience necessary.

We値l have our usual post-work BBQ and feel free bring your bike and go for a ride.

Please register so we can plan accordingly and contact you if things should change.

We値l meet at Kelsey Campground Saturday morning at 9:30 am (see map). The campground is about 16 miles south on County Road 126 from the intersection of Highway 285. It is past Forest Road 550 and the Little Scraggy trailhead (pay parking lot). Look for the COMBA sign. We will have coffee and light breakfast items available.

Dress in sturdy work clothes including boots, long pants (recommended), work gloves, hat and sunglasses. Remember to bring water, your own lunch, sunscreen and a pack to carry them in.  A hydration pack works great for this purpose. There is no water available at the campground.

So come on out and help COMBA continue the construction of the newest Buff Creek. trail. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Keith Clarke at keith.clarke@comba.org.  See you on the 26th!

Bumping this up! It's gonna be a beautiful day to build trail, ride bikes, eat food and drink beer. C'mon out.

Looking forward to going to this, moved out to Colorado in April and have enjoyed the trails all summer and fall, it will be nice to give a little back
