I'm thinking about heading down to Buffalo Creek next weekend. Is anyone aware of any events over the Labor Day weekend that I would want to avoid? :madman:
Early or late afternoon is typically pretty open, also there are some many trails you are bound to have fun regardless of crowds, you might actually meet some nice folks as well....BR
My experience with Buff Creek is even when it's busy, there's enough terrain that it never seems too congested. Just always be heads up and assume someone is around the next blind corner. (Which you should be doing anyway)
No matter how crowded the parking lot, I have rarely seen that many people on the trail. And, you might be surprised on Monday. We rode BC on the Monday of Memorial day weekend - got a late start - and were surprised that the parking lot at Pine Valley was empty when we showed up mid morning.
Like I said, come on out anywayz, cus we all know that the more we have, the merrier it will be
