    breckenridge lift riding

Did the B-32 race on saturday and had a blast, the legs are still tired so I wanted to avoid alot of climbing over the next couple of days.

The lift to peak 8 seems like a worthwhile day, and its within walking distance of my hotel. Has anyone ridden this lift before? Are the trails coming down any good? Looking to find nice XC singletrack.

This may sound harsh but why not walk over to the lift area and grab a trail map and see what the lifts access. They would know better than most and I am guessing not many people on here go to breck to ride the lifts to access singletrack. Most of the people who ride the lifts up go to keystone or winter park or sol vista so they can ride dh and not xc

Very good point. I had taken the lift up and grabbed a map, there didn't seem to be anyone working that was a biker and knew the trails.

I tend to forget that BR has lift serviced riding. I rode there about 14 years ago (on a 65mm hardtail) and it looks like the trails are the same now as they were then (plus a few additions). Take a spin there and post up what you think about it. As I recall, they were XC singletrack and there were some fun sections.

If you like it and want to get a little deeper in the pool, head to nearby Keystone (or Sol Vista or Winter Park, but they are more of a drive).

If you ride the lift up make sure to ride the Game Trail down!

Right, why would a DH'er know anything lift riding?

    Besides...

You have just been mentally Rick Roll'd. Yup you're thinking about it right now aren't you? Don't fight it.
