    Breck/Vail conditions?

Spending the Father's Day weekend in Breck and wondering how high are the trails riding? Vail? Two Elk's a pipe dream?

Top of Vail pass still had a fair amount of snow last Monday, but it's been warm and sunny since then and even warmer and sunnier the past few days.

Shrine pass wasn't yet rideable, but I'm guessing it's very close right now. Two Elks may be possible.

No snow whatsoever up Red Sandstone road last Monday.

There is no *way* Bowman's or Two Elk's is going to be ready by F-Day. The north facing DH off Bowman's is *guaranteed* to be a show-stopper.

Although if you're sense of adventure is strong... give it a go and take pics!

Maybe an out/back on Two Elks from Minturn?

Two elks is no go. Peaks might be dryish by then but isn't yet AFAIK. Soda creek area is riding pretty nice lower but west ridge is still snow covered. However, its gonna be warm and dry until then so you never know.

You can do the Peaks/Gold hill/Frisco loop but the N aspect areas between there and Breck are still snow/mud

    Other Good to go:
CT Red trail loop. The hay trail is 100% dry. The other two climbs to the CT are mostly to semi dry.
Aqueduct is dry with a few wet patches
    Mushroom is dry
CT from Horseshoe to RV park is dry
All the flume trails except upper flume by toxic forest is dry
Jeep roads in Golden Horseshoe can be dry or wet and snowy depending on aspect and elevation.
Burro trail is dry except for some parks on the rocky two track section
Ice Rink trails and Blue River trail is dry.
Boreas Pass rd is dry and the gate is closed as of 6/9
    Aspen tunnel is dry
    V3, Barney Ford is dry
    Sally Barber is dry
Lower French gulch trail except Turks are dry.
    Galena ditch
    Slalom ST
Heinous Hill till the top, all the routes down to Lincoln meadow are muddy/snowy

    What is NOT dry:
CT west Ridge and Middle fork to Georgia pass
    Bakers Tank trail/Pride/pinball
    Spruce Creek trail
    Upper Flume around Toxic Forest
    Wheeler trail
    Nightmare on baldy
    Upper Baldy
    Little French
As mentioned above, middle section of the Peaks
    CT above miners creek

If you ride here please. practice good stewardship by NOT riding around muddy spots. Walk the longer stretches and ride through short sections.
