Nice Jeff, looks like you picked the perfect time to visit and that's one sweet trail you decided to ride. I really enjoyed that and Devil's Backbone joined up when I visited in end of July. Did you do any of the off-loops? Make sure you try and hook up with Larry and the guys he rides with, they're a great group and will show you some more stuff and if you've never seen it before (even though you're a racer ) I think you'd really appreciate El Beastro's Terremoto.

Visit? Ha! I just moved here. I am officially a Coloradoan....or is Coloradoian.....or Coloradoite

It will work better for work related travel and product testing. And, yes, I rode Devil's Backbone, and darn near everything else in the Blue Sky area. I am trying to sample everything within riding distance so when Coach says "do this workout" I know where to go. So far....so good

    Good job! Lucky Bugger

Man you've moved to MTB heaven, you're so very lucky. Where did you move to Loveland or Fort Collins? Either way there's loads of great trails not far away.

Not sure how much you like the tech stuff, but there's so much variety up there it caters to all riding abilities and likes. If you haven't tried them yet swing down and do Halls Ranch and swing up and do Young Gulch - ask the locals exactly how to get to them - both very nice kinda technical depending on your skill level, but oh so super fun.

Guess I'll look forward to meeting you next year and hopefully more MTBR members. Oh and the races that are just oh so close to you now - too many to name.

Make sure and swing by "Big City Burritos" in downtown for some truly great burritos. Also loads of other great micro breweries/restaurants downtown.

Oh and let us know if you make it up that nasty step on DBB in the "tech loop".

But you sure showed some pix like you like the sport. You know, the sport that re-invented skiing...
