    Well....

Id be interested in making a post like this in the passion forum and see what kind of responses you get from people in other states. But, as for Colorado sections of the CDT...

    Start at the Colo/Wyo border..

...and head south. The first 20 miles or so is all open to ATV's but its still worth riding for the views.

    Park range.

Looking at Buck mtn. from Diamond Park.

Finally, some singletrack south of Diamond Park.

Once you hit Seedhouse road the CDT takes North lake trail into the Zirkel wilderness. North lake trail makes its way up to the divide where it rejoins 1101 and takes you south to Buffalo pass, and out of the Zirkel wilderness.

My initial starting point was going to be by Winter Park...but now the WYO/CO state line looks very inviting!
