best skiing ON the front range? (east of Genesee?)

Since Basin reported a whopping ONE inch out of this storm today, it looks like a day for the skinning today/tomorrow on the FR. Any worthwhile spots? (There's no epic skiing east of Genesee so don't get all lame and protective of "secret flatland stashes") I've seen some good looking lines on the northface of green mountain, we found some good lines off the NTM quarry road, was thinking you might be able to shuttle WR from the top parking lot to the bottom via belcher, anyone done that? I bet WR will have 10-15 inch lines by this afternoon.

nice. CAIC just issued avalanche warnings for Boulder, Jeffco and Larimer counties:

COLORADO AVALANCHE INFORMATION CENTER IS ISSUING AN AVALANCHE WARNING FOR THE FRONT RANGE MOUNTAINS EAST OF THE CONTINENTAL DIVIDE. HEAVY SNOWFALL EAST OF THE CONTINENTAL DIVIDE HAS CREATED VERY DANGEROUS AVALANCHE CONDITIONS. TOTAL SNOWFALL ACCUMULATIONS OF MORE THAN TWO FEET ARE POSSIBLE.

Doesn't look like White Ranch is included in the warning.

Jeezus - the deadfall in that area would be a tib/fib compound fracture waiting to happen.

There's a house (think it used to be owned, maybe still is, by the Medved family) up on the ridge to the left once you start up WB I-70 past MW. Just below that is a great slope, N facing glades. Always thought it'd be great, prob private property.

Right about here

That's an old ski area. I think they called it Arapahoe East.

yea A-east is private, but im sure they wouldn't mind a quick bit of "avalanche mitigation" work on thier property.

I think it is private property. There's a huge stable on the land now.

Green Mountain

East side of Apex - not sure if skiing is allowed on odd or even days though.

The backcounty in Highland Ranch will be good for about 3 turns, but yes it is "Private" property if you don't live in H.R.

Bottom of Apex from the water tank is good for about 6 turns.
Someone regularly hits the NE facing slope at the top of Apex (between P&S and bonanza).
Free-heel hippies on odd days only.

Was thinking about Apex as soon as I got home, but was disappointed to find more brown than white still.
Maybe tomorrow if we get a couple more feet.
Anyone interested, lemme know
