Best "for the Front Range" thread???

Post your favorite "for the Front Range" thread.

I don't see how you long timers can handle this. What happens if you go ride somewhere other than the Front Range? All the advice from here is null and void?

    funny

IMO you can use practically anything to ride on the front range. I generally only think about using a specialty item or "best of" item if I were doing a race or a big ride somewhere else than the front range. For example: "What's the best tire for the Laramie Enduro?" "What's the best hydration pack for the 24 Hours of Moab". "What's the best tire combo for the Trans Rockies Race?"

I'm kind of tired of the "What's the best (insert product here) for the Front Range" threads. But since we are on the subject "What's the best tube for the Front Range"?
    I'm here for the downhill

The final "best for the front range" thread will certainly be my favorite as it will be the last one.

one can only hope there is a last one. I've voting this for "Best" as long as it complies with the above statement.

I'm guessing the best "best for the front range" topic would be the one where the OP didn't get slammed/criticized by a bunch of d-bags for asking a reasonable question. If you don't like em, don't post in them, plenty of other people are willing to offer constructive advice.

    Just my .02.

I think the rub is that everyone asks about something "best for the Front Range". In reality if it works for the FR, then it will probably work most anywhere else, and vice versa. That, and this is the Front Range forum, so it could be implied that any advice in question is for the FR unless specified for another region.

But I do also agree with your comments. If you don't like the request, don't provide input.

I totally understand if one wants to ask an equipment related question. And it is interesting that so many threads start with "best for region". I'm sure the OP's of the aforementioned threads don't even realize most the time and there certainly is no reason to harsh on them. They are innocent of any wrong doing.

All I'm saying is that the "best for front range"s that are trying to be funny .... fail to amuse.

Oh yeah, I counter your kittens with more sci-fi humor.

Too funny! I vote for the kittens for the best hijack of a "for the Front Range" thread.
