    Bear creek trails open house

    Dear Bear Creek Roundtable Members:



    We have set an Public Open House date of Tuesday, February 25, 5:30-7:30 pm in the Pikes Peak Room at the Colorado Springs Utilities' Leon Young Service Center, 1521 Hancock Expressway, Colorado Springs 80903.



    At this Open House we will continue the discussion on proposed actions in the Bear Creek watershed. It will also serve as an opportunity to provide comments on the revised proposed action and existing alternatives.



    A scoping letter will be sent the week of February 17th with details of the Proposed Action and Alternatives. When this scoping letter is sent it will begin a formal 30 day comment period.



    Feel free to share this update with your respective group members and thank you for your continued involvement and contributions to the Bear Creek Watershed Restoration project.

    667 - moto
    701 - moto

    High Drive - Closed to public automobiles

    No camping, shooting, off-trail travel, campfires on City and CSU property/Bear Creek Basin.

    No dogs, livestock, people in Bear Creek

    Dogs leash only in Bear Creek basin and NFS.

    please correct me if I'm wrong (just wanted to put some FS numbers to trail names)

    701 is forester's trail

    668 is pipeline

    622 is 7 bridges and buckhorn

    667 is mt. buckhorn trail above upper jack's

    665 is captain jack's
