Barnum Park... Gravity Logic and Winter Park

Check it... WP and Denver have teamed up to bring Denver a DJ/Slopestyle bike park. Gravity Logic is doing the building. John Cowan built jumps in Denver.

This is awesome! more and more places to ride! it's a good time to be a mtb'r. It seems like for years it was a place getting built up, then tore down. Now legitimate ride spots are popping up all over! So good!

This is awesome. If the success of Valmont is any indication, this should be huge. I hope JeffCo Open Space is taking notice.

Man I was worried when they said it was going to be a "skills course". So super stoked that this is being built.

Is this that little park on Hwy 6 and close to the ball field by the Federal exit?

Shhh! You're not supposed to give it away (acc'd to plussizebmx)! As if you couldn't find Barnum Park on a map, and this thing hadn't been in process for years...

I don't think this is going to be as big as Valmont, but does anybody know how big it will be?

    Kick Ass!

I heard about this a few months back but thought it was a small park that was just opened. Psyched to see it's going to be much more than that with a pro helping build it.

to answer the question about how big it will be.... the park is only a couple of acres and the budget is a tiny fraction of Valmont. Having said that, what's there will be super sick and give Denver riders one more place to ride and hone their skills for the trip up to Trestle.
New stuff opening weekly up on the hill!

It will certainly be nice not to have to travel two hours to get some jump on.
