Does anyone know if there's still snow on the Government Trail? I was thinking about heading out to Glenwood area and hitting up Mushroom Rock on Saturday and the Gov't Trail on Sunday. I know last year the snow was gone early, but I don't know about this year.

    Thanks in advance.

I was out hiking/camping in Aspen last week. The snow in the trees started around 10,000 ft in spots. By 10,750 the trail was completely buried in snow (in the trees). Out side of the trees the trails were clear. We were at Conundrum hot springs, the canyon faces north so the slopes were not specifically north or south facing.
You have just been mentally Rick Roll'd. Yup you're thinking about it right now aren't you? Don't fight it.
