Roger that. As of this afternoon, MW/DR trails were dry, tacky and practically deserted. If you like that kinda thing.

I do not understand this MW/CC contest.

Between the two parks. I mean, if they're both dry, why would anyone want to ride Centennial Cone? It's a pretty park and all, but kee-rist, you're practically tempted to pack a book to stave off the boredom on that ride.

Eh, not my thing. Neither is hauling a camelbak stuffed with books and gimpy puppies.

That's precisely the reason I like to ride it sometimes -- it's a good place to switch off the brain and just hammer. It's good for cardio training. Yeah, it's just this side of a road ride, which is kind of the appeal for me -- sometimes. But yeah, it's kind of like a roller coaster ride -- anyone can ride it, it goes really fast, and it's over before you realize it. I like to do it as an out and back from the south lot to the north lot and back, if I have the time. That's close to 18 miles, 3,000 feet of climbing. Makes for a heck of a workout in under 3 hours. But it's only fun when it's empty -- not worth the effort on the weekend bike days unless you get there at the ass-crack of dawn and beat the crowds. Sheesh, that place is overrun.

Hm ... drunk baby kittens. Entertaining and practical.

I may have to give this CC thing another go.

    Entertaining, practical and delicious.

There's a place in the world for CC, even for the gnar-core such as yourself.
Since when did Need have anything to do with this?

Alright, fine. But that place demands kittens and beer.
