Let me get this right....if I am riding something that sucks, I would answer yes?

...or if I am riding something cool, I would say no?

I don't ride anyway, so it doesn't matter.

    Nope

That is, as long as somebody on a heavy bike and flat pedals doesn't run me over on my way up.

Hey Jim. I may do something in the Crosier vicinity (but not Crosier) on Sunday. You're welcome to join if interested.

Sunday would be my first time at Crosier. You have me wondering if I should go somewhere else due to the erosion you mentioned.

Is there erosion throughout the whole system or just the top end?

I"m already dead inside because my new springs didn't make it in time for the weekend.

Still looking to hookup for a ride this afternoon or schedule something bigger for tomorrow (sun).

Maybe head over to GJ for the DH trail and lunch loop stuff next weekend. ???

So did you ride or not?

I rode a Niwot time trial yesterday evening. No, no Hare Krishna's drinking urine, but I did see Fox news heading that way. If you don't know what I speak of, you really don't wanna know.

I would ride today since it's perfect weather, but gotta work on some house stuff.

South st vrain and sourdough didn't suck today but the wind on the brainard lake rd. did.

I guess I sucked pretty bad since I went OTB about 4 times.

Rode Falcon -> LotB today. It did *not* suck. Cleaned both the uphill rock gardens at LotB, too... which I don't generally manage.

When I got home we took all the boys out for a 10-miler down to the river and back.

    What a great November day.

    My Sunday Ride

From my townhouse in Ft. Collins, E out the Spring Creek Bike Path to the Poudre Bike path to Lory SP , W Valley trail to E Valley trail to Nomad to Blue Sky to an Indian Summer loop back to the County Rd to the Cathy Fromme path through Fossil Crk Park to the great "urban stash" along the RR tracks between Trilby and Harmony (repeat 3 times) to the Power Trail path, back to Spring Crk path to my house.

Feet solidly clipped in on clipless pedals.

~ 55 mi/ 70F: if it wasn't for the 25-35 MPH wind on the return it would have been perfect.

    So I guess it sucked

I had a fine little jaunt on Sunday; Falcon-LOTB. Good company (who quickly dropped me on each climb), conversation, food and margaritas. Quite a favorable weekend had indeed.

That is highly unlikely; I was on a bike nearly 10 lbs heavier than what I'm accustomed. TVC15 kicked my butt all over that ride, but she would have done that even if my bike were equipped with rocket boosters.

Ahh... we were probably pulling back into the parking lot when you were leaving. We hit the trail around 9:15. Great day for a ride and the crowds were really quite thin.

You guys ran into that group of 400 hikers, didn't you? They were still assembling in the upper parking lot when we passed them.

And the ride down to LotB had only about a dozen hikers/bikers coming up that we stopped for...

    Good times.

I came really close to hitting that, but I wussed out because I thought it would be cold/windy.

It was cold-ish, around fifty, and windy but when you're in the trees it didn't matter. Some snow on the trail esp. on SSV but still all ride-able.

I pushed my Pugsley for 3 hours in knee deep snow. Saw 2 huge moose. It sucked in a fun sort of way.

I rode the pump track and jumps at lory on friday and saturday. Got a P2 three weeks ago and this was the first I got to take it out. I was worried we would get a massive snow storm, and that the bike would have to sit in the basement all winter before I got a chance to use it. I must say that mother nature was very nice to us in fort collins over the weekend.

Got to hit up the new skills park too. That was fun. That pump track at lory is a great work out if you pump it like your supposed to and don't pedal. I am out of shape by about 2 months and the pump track really worked me. I could do the outer loop one time, then start the second lap and would get really winded. Took a downed rider home too on sat. Guy fell on the stairstep on shoreline.
