Anyone recently camped on BLM campsites in Moab?

I'm hearing rumors of people being forced to vacate their campsites. (due to the gov't shutdown)

I called some bike shops in Moab and was told that this isn't the case to the best of their knowledge. Does anyone have first hand experience?

    Thanks.

Just came back from a 5 day trip there. All the sites on Kane Road going towards Amasa had closed signs posted, but also had sites occupied, same goes for the road out to Poison Spider / Portal, as well as along the Co River after riding out of Porc Rim. Every camp site we saw had peeps camping in them & no sign of Gov officials removing them.

No problem where I camped last weekend, but there was a BLM or Parks officer dressed up like Universal Soldier shooing people out of the campground at the bottom of Portal.

Campgrounds around Portal were being closed down Sunday evening.

Just got back and was all open on Monday. I suspect that the toilets would be the only issue, so BYOTP if you get my drift. There were signs up saying that services would be reduced, whatever that means. All campgrounds were full of folks last weekend.
