Anyone have an Anthem X2 stolen in Denver?

I found this on craigslist. The description sounds suspicious to me, pretty high end bike for not knowing bike lingo.

All I know is that I don't know nothin'... and that's fine.

Good call. Maybe he stole it, maybe he's semi-literate or maybe both.
I just reread the ad and I think that the most suspicious thing is the asking price of $1000. If he was a legit CL'r he'd be asking $3200 because he's adding up every dollar he spent on plus the original purchase price.

    Ummmm
Giants are pretty inexpensive, and the X2 is a low-end model, and quoted from the ad
" Its pretty much a stock bike the way I bought it. "

and it comes with shoes. Do you think he jacked the shoes, too?

Sh!t, if you guys think $3200 is a good asking price for a used AnthemX2, then I got a um, slightly abused ReignX1 with some very nice upgrades for sale for a low low price of.... $5800, but I'll take $4500 cuz I needs the ca$h

He's using his work email in the ad. I doubt its stolen. I have a feeling that Schlumberger would fire him instantly if they found out he was selling stolen bikes on craigslist using a company email address.

I paid 1900 new for mine. Had it for about a year or so...Still 1000 is pretty cheap.

Well, perhaps this guy just realizes that for once, this is a realistic price to ask on the used market. I'm amazed at what people ask for bikes these days.

FYI, I sold this guy a fork last year for a trail bike he was building.

He's legit. He doesn't seem super into biking, but he was a decent guy. I remember him because I had been on a jobsite with him about 5 years before I sold him the fork.

Pay him a bit more than he's asking, he doen't make enough working for scumburger .
