I came back to my house from a night of drinking with Todd. A box awaited me at my door. To my surprise it was a box of Oury grips. That's one more sponsorship that we got. Needless to say I have 2 pairs of grips and some stickers for Billy, Dave, and Todd. Let me know when you want to get them.
I think it's time that we add our sponsors to our signature.
Steelheads for sale! Trunk of my buddies car at the corner of Colfax and Mississippi, or email him at snowskilz@hotmail.com. It's a freakin bargain!! (If you make your own bolts)

Turns out that five years of not mountain biking, really makes one strive to get back to it.

hehe, right on. I'm actually sorting things to better suit the race schedule today. If I'm going to race this year, I should commit to making a lot of races.

That's what I've been thinking. No sense in racing once or twice a season... It'll be interesting to see how the AC fares...

I think you guys should change the name to "d!ckbeaters" and leave it at that. Shorter, easier to remember, appeals to a broader audience....
Yeah, I was sitting here thinking that very thing. Well, that and looking at forks. I think the AC will do just fine as long as it holds together, not that I'm saying it won't, but that's the only thing I can think that might hold it back. The thing feels like it's got a stiffer rear than my bullit and pedals twice as good... it should be fine. I'll just spend the winter riding rigid SS and it'll ride like a dream come spring.

I picked up my '03 Slider on this site for $300 - it is in better shape than my 2month old Firefly, came with an extra spring (firm) and, while it might not be a DH fork, it is much closer and I haven't yet noticed a difference climbing. The best part is that I got almost that much for my Firefly...
That'd be a cool fork to get, but mucho $. I'll probably end up with a Boxxer just because they're cheap, light, I've had one and I loved it.
Yeah, I think it's targeted retail is around $1,600 but demand early on will probably make that jump. Fox is filling OEMs first on the first run of 40's and 36's which will make the aftermarket's (dealers) customers willing to pay even more since the product will be out there and there will be no way for them to immediately get it (demand outstripping supply). Just my uneducated guess based on every other new product release by Fox. Their stuff rocks but it seems they always under estimate demand....I'm a fine one to talk.....

I think I might have to pick up a DH40 in the spring for the 05 rig.
