Jay will take care of you- 27 page manual? ive had several lights and never seen a manual?

Jay also has a full time job - and kiddos so be patient he'll get back and prob hook you up with one till he fixes yours. I dont have much experience with the new ones with multiple settings- otherwise id give you some ideas.

I wasn't worried about Jay not taking care of it. I just was
impatient, so I went other avenues to possibly rectify the issue. All is well....

No worries, I totally dogged Scottay5150 and neglected to reprogram the low voltage cut off value from the default before handing over his new light. The driver was doing exactly what it was supposed to do. Sorry Scott!

Just so everyone knows - I am a one man band with a full time job and family. I build lights on the weekends to keep my sanity.

Yes, my Amoeba lights have historically only been simple on/off. People are always asking for dimming options to stretch out the batteries when needed as well as everyone always wants more light.

Have created three new flavors that offer dimming, strobing, mode choice, and much more using TaskLED drivers. The manual for each of the drivers is a 27 page PDF document. All 3 new flavors are powered by the 7.4V batteries I have always supplied/offered.

Here is what the new flavors look like -

    2x Cree XP-G

    b2Flex driver manual - http://taskled.com/leds/b2flexuni_v1.00.pdf

    3x Cree XP-G

    maxFlex driver manual - http://www.taskled.com/leds/maxflexuni_v4.00.pdf

    2x Cree XM-L

    LFlex driver manual - http://www.taskled.com/leds/lflexuni_v1.00.pdf

No beam shots yet, tried to get out this weekend but got chased away by storms.

Got a couple of standard Amoeba's ready to go right now in the classifieds - http://classifieds.mtbr.com/showcat.php?cat=27

Should have a couple of the 2x XM-L versions showing up in the classifieds first part of the week.

Yeah, but I get up very early during the week, so I might have to be sick some upcoming Friday.

    Does this look infected?

BigSteve in CO - For sure on the demo. It is hard to translate the size and output of the light with pictures and descriptions, they don't do it justice. I will shoot you a PM and we can coordinate a demo for you. I can just give you a light and battery for a few days and you can check it out at your leisure.

I have been on these T.I.T.S rides in BC and have been chased by a couple of coyotes! Epic

    Curtis C - I haven't forgotten you (really!!!)

The new Amoebas are even brighter?!

As another vote for these lights and Jay, I've rented them 2 years in a row for the 12 hour DH race at Angel Fire....using two of the old ones were plenty bright for racing DH at night, the new ones are going to be ridiculously good! Jay is a great guy, and his lights are seriously awesome.
