    After work springs ride 7/13/2011

Was thinking we need to have a ride posted up about a ride after work. I would vote Palmer but afraid any afternoon shower will turn it into a slop fest. So where shall we go? Plan on Palmer with a fall back ride? Help with some info or input. Thinking normal 600pm start time.

Palmer would be fun, it has been awhile since I have ridden there. A backup is a good idea. Just plan on the canyon for backup right? Red Rocks, Ute, Palmer all turn bad in the rain. How about a Falcon Trail ride with Hitech getting us on the grounds?

There has been talk of either Monument or CMSP Both sound awesome. Monument is better for rain.

Monument was fun on saturday be cool to hit that up, havent done palmer yet that would be cool to. From what im seeing thier is no bad trail just be weather dependent .

I would like to ride Palmer our Cmsp but both can get quite muddy. So I'm with bismirl and say we hit up cj to chutes from stratton.

Ok well lets just shoot for chutes, buck horn, jacks run on weds. Meet in the stratton open space parking lot at 600 pm. We can save palmer for a night that the weather is not so iffy. Sound good to everyone?

My car is in for a service on Wednesday, so I'm somewhat at the mercy of the shuttle gods/dealership. If any way possible I'll make it though--would like to try out my NEW BIKE! Yes, I went squishy.

Ha ha Kristian, you probably had no idea you had so much influence, huh? Had been thinking about/looking at full suspension for awhile, and my GT suddenly sold over the weekend (had it on c'list for awhile), so had an excuse to buy something new. I had ridden and compared a fair amount of bikes, and this one seemed well spec'd for the $ and seems to fit well. Can't wait! -E

The bike is looking good. Nothing like breaking it in on Buckhorn and Jacks.

But you gotta do something about those wheel reflectors...

Yes, rookie mistake taking pics BEFORE I had sanitized it! They were off prior to moving to the garage!

Other than that... the thing just looks too damn new and shiny... we'll have to do something about that.

I am sure it'll be blast breaking the new bike in. I just 'bought' a bike but the shop won't let me take it until I pay for the whole thing... Go figure...

I got the 2010 Enduro from Criterium. Fit well, as far as I could tell. It is a large, solid black.

Edit: forgot to mention it came with a Trestle pass. So I guess I'll have to check that place out now.
