    2013 New Year's Day ride

    Happy New Year!

Managed to get out for a nice ride in Monument Preserve today. Besides the chill, it was actually great trail conditions. Little to no ice.

Nice to see some flaskin' (hair of the dawg?) and I am shocked to see that guy with the red jersey in the air with no ice to land on, I think he has gone soft landing on that frosty gravel - plenty of traction. Tractor driving today (corral cleaning) was left handed, no dice on a bike with you guys.

Traction and Single Track (TITS if "traction IN single track!") for the new year to MTBR, thanks for the forum here,

    jon.

    Whoops, Traction IN Single Track.

Looks like fun. Yesterday was nice also, though it was cold. The trails are nicely tracked up, so it was decent riding on them.

Nice - looks like a great ride! Today was my second day felling good after the stomach flu that's going around, but I managed to get out for a 10.5 mile loop at Bear Creek Lake Park - still a lot of snow, but packed out and frozen, kind of like my toes. I've got to find some winter shoes or shoe covers.
